Surprise Birthday Blog Hop

Hello there, dear crafters!!
Today's a big day, we've made a surprise blog hop for our lovely Maurie Manning to celebrate her upcoming birthday!!! Yay!
Dear Mo, I know you're reading it now ❤ Happy upcoming birthday to you! You are not only a super talented artist but also a fabulous person I have a chance to know. May your life be full with the same emotions I have when I look at your digital stamps ( more particularly: delight, pleasant excitement, happiness and scream for joy). Hug you super tight!!!
And now to the blog hop! If you're following our designers' chain, you perhaps have come here from my adorable teamie Elin. And here's my card. We all used one and the same digital stamp by Mo's digital pencil called Look, Ma! -  a cute little boy with big achievements. This is Mo's favorite image.

s

I decided to make a simple desing ( as always:)) to attract more attention to the colored image. I colored it with alcohol Chameleon pens and some accents with wax based Chameleon pencils. For the background i used diy cloud border stencil and Broken China Distress Oxide. The sentiment was by CASual Fridays - Mon Ami, which I stamped with white pigment Ink Bite - Angel Wings by So Suzy stamps. I alsolutely in love how the whole card turned out!

Here's the whole chain of my adorable teamies:

Hello card ft Lawn Fawn stamps

Hello there!
Do you remember that Blue Skies stamp set by Lawn Fawn? I clearly remember that I was absolutely in love with it several years ago and this set became the first in my future Lawn Fawn collection, I still love it and decided to use it for Lawn Fawnatics new challenge #9 called Color Inspiration Board with five yummy bright colors.

➤To create this card I used Lawn Fawn Blue Skies stamp set, Smitty's ABCs alphabet set for the banner and Puffy Cloud Borders to create a mask.
I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with alcohol Chameleon pens. Next step was very interesting to me and I expected this result. I covered some segments of the balloon with Nuvo Glitter Grops - White Blizzard and Nuvo Crystal Drops - Morning Dew, you know that you shouldn't dry them with a heat gun otherwise they would look warped and milky. I needed this deformation to get some sort of texture on the balloon. So here it is :)) It looks very interesting especially with a simple design like this.

For the background I used Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks, them sponged cloud shapes with a cloud border mask (I created out of  acetate and Puffy Cloud Borders die by Lawn Fawn) and white pigment Ink Bites - Angel Wings by So Suzy.

Hug you tight card

Hello there!
I'm a bit late with this post but anyway super glad to share it with you. This card was made specially for Lesia Zgharda blog using their stamps, I also prepared a small tutorial on how to make this card that you can find over at their blog →HERE.

It seems I've fallen in love with layering stamps, maybe because it's  much faster and easier than coloring with my alcohol markers :) Sometimes I feel a bit lazy))

I also love printing my own sentiments, this way I'm independent of the stamp manufacturer and fell free to add smth my own, smth that fits better.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!

Summertime Fun card

Hello there!
I'm super inspired by Lawn Fawnatics challenges and this time the theme #8 is "Summertime Fun". Maybe you have noticed that the crafty world is mad now about citrus theme and I'm not an exception)) love it so so much!

I used Lawn Fawn Summertime Charm stamp set to make this bright and cheerful card. Stamped the lemons with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink, the lime with SSS Green Apple and the flowers with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide. See how gorgeous do the Oxides stamp?! Love them. For the panel I used Cracked Pistachio and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks.  For the lemonade -Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide and regular Twisted Citron Distress ink.  And finally Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink again to stamp the background on kraft cardstock.

For me summertime fun is an opportunity to cook different dishes and drinks with fresh fruits and vegetables. Can't wait to open watermelon season:) It's in August in our area. Until then I'm happy with lots of strawberry and raspberry in our garden 😋

Shaker card with hidden message ft So Suzy stamps

Hello there!
I'm all in shakermania again :)) Remember those days when I thought "Enought shaker cards, I'm done!", but now I'm here again shaking all the way :)) Shaker cards are not super suprizing thing nowadays but you can make them unique every single time by changing the concept to astonish your recipient. My concept today is to hide the message under the glitter :) The person should shake it off to the other side to read the whole message, what a fun way, right? :) This card is the best way to surprise or annoy your loved one :))

Here are the steps to create this card:

I placed all the stitched circle dies together to make several circle frames out of dark cardstock.

Here they are. I wouild need only three frames and that tiny circle.

I die cut a square panel which was slighly smaller than a cardbase and stuck all three frames together. Also adhered acetate to the back sides to make shaker elements.

Took Olesya Side Bloom, stamped it onto a separate piece of paper and colored with alcohol Chameleon pens.

Also placed the panel onto a piece of blue cardstock to tie all the elements together by color. Stamped the sentiment direcly onto a white panel where the large circle frame should be. Filled the shaker elements with clear micro beads, pearlescent and blue micro glitter. Those tiny beards helped the glitter to move better.
There are two ways to fill the shaker: 1) to pour glitter and beads directly onto the panel and then cover them with the circle frames ( I did it) and 2) to place the circle frames face down on the table, fill it and cover with one more piece of acetate to seal it. This way you have no need eyeballing where the glitter is, it will be inside the shaker.

With glitter drops I embellished the leaves and stamens of the flower as well as that tiny blue heart.
As for the measurements, this card is 10x10 cm.

Meet the diet with a happy face :)

Hello there!
Do you like diets? I sometimed do, it seems I like suffering)) lol. This card is all about "happy face" :) I'm not going to give it to a person who is trying to lose weight, it's just a funny card for my friend's birthday (he's a man 👨😁 ) with the message smth like Eat your cake and don't think about diets :)
Soo, I made it specially for Challenge up you life blog with the theme #69 "Cats & Dogs". I'm a crazy cat person and it is going without saying I choose cats :)

This adorable cat called Cookie is a digital image by Mo's digital pencil colored with alcohol Chameleon pens and wax based Chameleon pencils.

Made the words with alphabet stickers, outlined with a pencil and covered with clear Morning Dew Nuvo drops.

These cool leaves are called In the shadow of peonies by Mimicut - Russian brand dies, produced in Saint- Petersburg.

Old School photo album - update

Hello there!
Do you remember those old school photo albums? I think almost everyone had it, it considered to be a good present those days :) Nowadays, crafters are all in Project Life albums which are inherently the same as those albums. the same sleeves. So I thought why not refresh the design and use it for my a-la Project Life travelling album.  I used my alcohol Chameleon pens for it.

There's a downloadable instruction to the process over at → Chameleon blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a nice day!
